About ST Learning Lab

ST Learning Lab is the educational development centre of Science and Technology.

ST Learning Lab is the educational development centre of Science and Technology. Our offices are at Navitas but professionally we cover all of the Science and Technology faculty at Aarhus University.

Our aim is to develop the teaching at ST by means of courses, workshops, and development projects based on collegiate discussions and feedback, and the most recent Danish and international research on quality in university teaching.

Our ongoing development projects means that we are always two steps ahead in relation to innovative teaching and types of examination as well as technology in the teaching.

We wish to improve student learning with up-to-date teaching and methods of assessment, and ensure our graduates are well prepared for life after university.

ST Learning Lab have close ties to the academic environment at ST. Because of that, we always know what is happening among the members of the teaching staff and the students. We are consultants from a number of disciplines – including Mathematics, Bioscience, Physics and Astronomy, Educational Technology, and didactics in higher education.

Media Lab will help you integrate technology in your teaching

As part of ST Learning Lab we also have our Media Lab. Media Lab does support services, develops digital teaching materials, and do advanced video production.

Integrating technology in your teaching is a way to increase student participation. This applies to the actual teaching situation and for when the students prepare at home and on the move. At Media Lab, we try to always be updated on the latest technologies and will help you appropriately integrate those technologies in your teaching.
