Aktiver dine studerende under teoretiske øvelser (TØ) (Workshop - 21. september 2017)

Indhold

På denne workshop vil du blive introduceret til aktiviteter og værktøjer, du kan bruge til at understøtte de studerendes aktive læring under dine teoretiske øvelser. Det vil blive demonstreret, hvordan du kan bruge f.eks. peer-undervisning og peer-feedback til at puste nyt liv i gruppearbejde og klassediskussioner.

Under workshoppen vil du have mulighed for at diskutere udformningen af dine teoretiske øvelser, og du vil udvikle en eller flere aktiviteter, der skal bruges i dit eget kursus.

Læringsmål

Efter workshoppen vil du kunne

  • Diskutere hvordan peer-undervisning og peer-feedback kan understøtte de studerendes læring
  • Udvikle undervisning der understøtter aktiv læring under dine teoretiske øvelser
  • Diskutere hvordan du vil bedømme de studerendes læring under dine teoretiske øvelser

Aktiv læring i laboratoriet (LØ) (Workshop - 18. januar 2018)

Indhold

På denne workshop vil du blive introduceret til aktiviteter og værktøjer, du kan bruge til at understøtte dine studerendes aktive læring i de forskellige faser af dit kursus i laboratoriet: Forberedelse før de går til laboratoriet, arbejdet i laboratoriet, og arbejdet med laboratorierapporten. Under workshoppen vil du have mulighed for at diskutere udformningen af dit laboratoriekursus, og du vil udvikle en eller flere aktiviteter, der kan bruges i dit kursus.

Læringsmål

Efter workshoppen vil du kunne

  • Beskrive det påtænkte læringsudbytte i dit laboratoriekursus
  • Udvikle undervisning, der understøtter aktiv læring under dit laboratoriekursus
  • Vælge relevante metoder til at vurdere de studerendes læring under dit laboratoriekursus

Make your own videos - easily (Workshop - 28 September 2017)

Content

If done the right way, video is an effective and useful media for the development and transformation of teaching so that it is more flexible, engaging, and active. It can give the students a better support for their individual needs and demands.

At ST there is various easy ways to produce and distribute video based material in your teaching. We have two do-it-yourself webcast studios, you can borrow tablets to produce tabletcasts, we have screencast software, etc.

At this workshop, you will see different video formats, discuss the teaching considerations, and test different formats for video based materials as well as produce your own teaching materials.

Blackboard and Adobe Connect (Webinar - 19 October 2017)

Content

The webinar will introduce you to some of the most used features in Adobe Connect, and help you to understand how to use Adobe Connect as a tool. We will show how Adobe Connect is integrated into Blackboard and how all recordings are automatically made available on the course without any extra work for you.

The main focus of the webinar is to make you, as a teacher, feel confident with the tool, and make you want to use it in your course.

Learning outcome

  • You will be able to produce and deliver video content using Adobe Connect
  • You will become familiar the basic tools in Adobe Connect

Bb - Learning modules (Webinar - 16 November 2017)

Content

A learning module is an online way to structure your teaching and/or the students' preparation in a predetermined, sequential structure. The workshop focuses on:

  • How to create a learning module in Blackboard
  • The elements that can be part of a learning module
  • How to use learning modules i a traditional course as well as an online course
  • How a learning module looks from a student perspective and
  • How to use learning modules for feedback

  • You can create and design a learning module
  • You know when to use a learning module
  • You can use learning modules in traditional teaching as well as online teaching
  • You can use learning modules to get feedback

Bb - Basic Blackboard (Workshop - 20 December 2017)

Content

You will be introduced to Blackboard through short lectures and hands-on exercises. The workshop gives you an overview of the system and its principles. You will be introduced to the functionalities needed to teach and get insight into the use of Blackboard at Science and Technology.

Learning outcome

  • You will have an overview of Blackboard and its principles
  • You will know the basic functionality used by teachers
  • You will know how to develop you Blackboard competences
